General Hospital is a public art project by the artist collaboration Margaret Crane/Jon Winet and is commissioned by Capp Street Project's "Art In The Urban Landscape Project" and the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation, San Francisco.

Technology components of "General Hospital" are produced in conjunction with the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center's Artist In Residence Program (Xerox PARC PAIR Program). The participating researchers are Dale MacDonald and Scott Minneman.
